Thirlwell started the way most family businesses do — with a name on the truck that we had to be able to stand behind.
We're two brothers from Nova Scotia. We came to Toronto, knocked on doors, and took the jobs nobody else wanted to do properly. No investors, no call centre, no franchise handbook. Just the two of us learning the work on real houses, in real neighbourhoods, for people who could tell the difference.
Six years and more than 1,350 homes later, that hasn't changed. The name on the truck is still our name. If a job isn't right, it comes back on us — and that's exactly the way we want it.
No strangers. No shortcuts.
Today the work is focused: pressure washing and polymeric sanding, done together, on paver driveways, patios, walkways, front steps and pool decks across the Greater Toronto Area.
We narrowed it deliberately. Doing two things properly beats doing eight things adequately, and hardscape restoration is where we can genuinely make a house look after itself again for years rather than weeks.
