The glass is only half of it. Dirt left on the frames and sills runs back down the glass the next time it rains, so we clean all three, with pure water and a soft cloth that leave no streaks and are safe on older windows. The outside gets done whether you're home or not. For the inside, someone just needs to let us in.

Full gutters spill over in the fall rain and freeze along the eaves once it gets cold. Clearing them is half the job. Flushing them after is how we know the water actually runs out the downspout, and if a screw has backed out, we fix it while we're already up there.

We clean the windows and clear the gutters. For the outside and the gutters you don't have to be home, we just need to get to the yard. For inside glass, someone lets us in.

About us
Meet the Thirlwells.
Two brothers from Nova Scotia who came to Toronto and built a family business one house at a time. Six years and more than 1,350 homes later, the name on the truck is still ours. If a job isn't right, it comes back on us.
In Regent Park: Regent Park and the streets around it mix newer townhouses and low rise buildings with older brick and Victorian homes toward Cabbagetown and Riverdale. Newer rows have tidy gutters that still catch grit and leaves. Older rows have narrow lots, mixed window styles and tight access. We plan the visit around how each house is built.

What does gutter cleaning include?
We remove all the debris, flush the gutters and downspouts, and do minor repairs on the spot for free, like popping loose screws back in. Gutter guards are quoted separately.
Is it cheaper to book both?
Yes. Booking both takes $50 off the two prices added up, and it's one visit instead of two.
How much does it cost?
Most Toronto homes are $174 to $299 for windows or gutters, depending on the size of the home. Both together is the two prices added up minus $50, so usually $298 to $548. You get a fixed price before we start, and you pay when the job is finished.
When does the season end?
We clean windows and gutters from October 20 until the snow comes. If you want your gutters clear before the first freeze, book early.
