Quotes
Quotes are given on site after we have seen the surface. The price we give you is fixed before any work starts. A 25 percent deposit is due once the job is confirmed and the balance is due on completion. A quote is valid for 30 days. If the scope changes on the day - additional area, a surface in materially worse condition than what we quoted, or work you add - we will tell you the revised price and get your approval before continuing.
Scheduling and weather
We confirm your service date the day before. Pressure washing can go ahead in light rain. Polymeric sanding needs a dry surface and a dry curing window, so if the weather does not allow it we will reschedule to the next clear day and confirm the new date with you.
Access and site conditions
We need access to the work area and to a working water supply and outdoor outlet unless we have agreed otherwise. Please move vehicles, furniture, planters and anything fragile off the area before we arrive. Please close windows and doors near the work area.
Our work
We match pressure and technique to each surface. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, loose or failing mortar, previously damaged sealant or coatings, deteriorated wood, or defects that are only revealed once dirt is removed. We will point out anything of this kind before we start where it is visible to us.
Walk-through and issues
Before we leave, we walk the job with you. If something is not right, we fix it then. If you notice something afterwards, contact us within 7 days and we will come back and look at it.
Payment
Payment is due on completion unless we have agreed something else in writing. A 25 percent deposit is due once the job is confirmed. The balance is due on completion.
Cancellation
You can cancel or move your booking at no charge by letting us know before the crew is dispatched on the service day.
Insurance
Thirlwell Property Services is fully insured. Proof of insurance is available on request.
